​1 Year Limited Warranty on Doors​​​​​​

​The following reasons are not considered or covered by this warranty:

​​Before installaing, cutting, hanging, and finishing doors:​​​​​

 *   After installation, all 6 sides of the door must be sealed immediately (ex. door shoe, rails, hinges...)

 *   Stained interior and exteriors doors must have the apprriopate amount of polyurethane finish coats.

(Recommended amount:    Interior doors -2 coats     Exterior doors- 3 coats)
 *    All doors need protection from exposure to sun, rain, and wind which can cause damage.
 *    Warranty does not cover door finished with water base top coat, white wash or lacquer. Or if door is exposed to stucco or water work or installed during ongoing construction.

​​​​​Handy Door Man Limited Warranty is  effective for one year from the  date of shipment to the customer. This  warranty is extended to the original purchaser and cannot be conveyed or transferred to any subsequent  purchasers. Handy Door Man or its suppliers are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

      * Inspect doors for warping, manufacturing defects, and defective glass.

      * (Note: Handy Door Man will replace door for warping exceeding 1/4" on doors up to 6'-8" and 3/8" on doors up to 8'-0"). 

• Inspect product for shipping damage or damage that may occur during storage 
  
• (Note: Upon delivery, unpack and carefully inspect doors immediately. Any damages must be reported to the shipping carrier). 
  

While Finishing and Installing:

3.  Refund the wholesale cost of the the door

​​Handy Door Man is not responsible for the following:

Door Warranty​​​​

   * Improper door installation or assembly of hardware (air and water infiltration).
   * Door damage resulting from attempts to repair doors from other door manufacturers, door repair representatives.
   * Door damage due to installation during construction.

        * Improper installation or maintenance (exposure to chemicals/cleaners) or handing or storage
      * Door damage due to improper use, abuse, vandalism, accident, fire, corrosive fume
      * Panel shrinkage or misalignment Rusting or distillation of decorative metal accent options (Clavos, Grilles...)
      * Door modification / alterations (mail slot, pet door....)
      * Door damage due to transportation in customer possession
      * Separations between stiles and rails up to 1/8"
      * Discoloration of hardware finish after 1 year
      * Fading of finish from age, product usage, or exposure to direct sunlight
      * Water and air insertion during sever weather conditions
      * Storm Doors
      * Glass Breakage
      * Cracks that are less than 1/16" width and 2" in length
      * Tear of weather-stripping and hardware
      * Normal weathering
      * Deterioration caused by failure to finish and seal all exposed edges and surfaces
(Note: To avoid excessive deterioration of your door, avoid using dark stains on the door surfaces. Do not drag door across each other, expose door to excessive humidity, heat, and direct sunlight while finishing).

If a door results defective Handy Door Man offers the options:

An adult over 18 years of age with the authority to make decisions must be present during the inspection, and delivery. (When applicable).
